The shift to water-borne paints within the United States provided a unique opportunity for the development of the first aqueous titanium (Ti02) slurries for the architectual market in the early 70's. The challenges that were overcome in the development of the first Tio2 slurries are reviewed along with the present day benefits of their use .Also, the issues surrounding slurry manufacture, storage, delivery, and receipt and adressed. |
