The particles were obtained using modified deposition-precipitation with Urea (DP Urea). The Taguchi method was implemented successfully to optimize the photoactivity for Au/TiO2photocatalyst. The optimized catalyst was characterized by XRD, BET, TEM, XPS and UV-visible absorption spectra techniques. It was found that Au3+/Ti4+molar ratio was the main parameter having significant effect on photocatalytic activity. Under optimal conditions, the observed Au nano-particle size and distributions indicate, that smaller gold nanoparticles (*1.8 nm diameter) were obtained, and the existing of Au particles promote the photoadsorption of oxygen on the surface of photocatalysts. Both are responsible for the significantly enhanced catalytic activity of commercial TiO2(pure P-25) toward the photodegradation of NPE-10-probably by increasing the rate of production of separated electrons and holes. These copolymers were then cast into the porous membranes via immersion phase inversion. The effects of N,N?-methylenebisacrylamide (MBAA) in the reaction solution on the structure and performance of as-prepared copolymer membranes were evaluated by elemental analysis, X-ray photoelectronic spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, water contact angle measurement, protein adsorption and filtration experiment. The grafting degree of PACMO increases with the increase of MBAA amount in the reaction solution, which endows the copolymer membrane with a good hydrophilicity. The protein adsorption and irreversible membrane fouling decrease and then further increase with the elevated grafting degree of PACMO. This result indicates that the anti-fouling property of membrane not only depends on the surface hydrophilicity and but also associates with the grafting structures of PACMO. This work provides a fundamental understanding of various grafting structures governing the performance of anti-fouling properties. Amidons

Index. décimale : 668.9 Polymères Résumé : Starch-based superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) were produced by graft copolymerization of starch-g-acrylamide using a twin-roll mixer as reactor. This work focused on the effect of starch microstructure (amylose/amylopectin contents) from the same source (corn starch) on the graft ratio (GR), graft efficiency (GE) and Add-on (AO), as well as water absorption capability (WAC) of the SAPs, which were investigated by FTIR, NMR, gravimetric and TGA. The torque variation represented all the processing in the reactor, including compress, gelatinization, graft reaction and crosslinking. Results showed that all the starches were successfully grafted with acrylamide then crosslinked by N.N?-methylene-bisacrylamide through this technology. Both AO and GR increased with increasing amylose content. But the GE decreased with increasing amylose content, which is different from the results in the solution reaction. The higher WAC of high amylose starch-based SAP corresponds with higher AO and GR, while the higher WAC of waxy-based SAP corresponds with higher GE. Note de contenu : - Materials

AND METHODS : Materials - Hair treatments - Determination of UV filters adsorption on hair surface - UV exposure - Protein degradation - Lipid peroxidation measurements - Tryptophan decomposition - Statistics analysis
