Note de contenu : - PHENOMENE DE DELAMINAGE

TissésIndex. décimale : 677 Textiles Résumé : This article presents a concept for an integrated design tool for textile composites. The tool combines the integration of models and design tools for different hierarchical scales of textile composites with integration along the production chain - from forming and impregnation of a preform to performance of the composite part. The properties of the textile composite are determined by the architecture of the reinforcement and the properties of the constituents. The focus is on the prediction of the mechanical properties of textile composites : stiffness, strength and fatigue resistance.

Textiles et tissus à usages techniquesIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : Tailored textiles (TT) are designed for use in high-performance materials with integrated local reinforcements. The latest developments in textile processing technology proved the potential of TT for a cost and weight-efficient design of fibre-reinforced plastics (FRP). TailCo, a researchproject recently started at RWTH Aachen University, aims at developing a modified product development process (PDP) for FRPs based on TT towards industrial applications.
