Résumé : |
Material scientists are very excited about the potential applications of carbon nanotubes, which include super-light composites with excellent mechanical strength for vehicle parts, cooling elements for super-fast next-generation mainframe computers, and long-life lithium-ion batteries. A great many developments in socially relevant future technologies are already based on these tiny tubes. Bayer MaterialScience is therefore significantly expanding its production capacities for this class of materials and is utilizing a cost-effective process that delivers high-purity products on an industrial scale. |
