Traditionally these pigments were produced mainly by cracking of hydrocarbons. The carbon black particles consist of layer planes, similar like graphite. These layers are not precisely oriented and aligned. Various manufacturing technologies have been introduced time to time. Now, with the innovative softbead technology, carbon black properties have been further enhanced for maximum advantages to ultimate users. These includes ease of dispersion, early dispersion, reduction of dispersing additives, high jetness, handling transportation, industrial hygiene etc. Ultimately all these advantages result in clean operation, lower production cost and higher production. Revêtements organiquesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Newer polymers have been invented by polymer scientist, for variety of applications, in the field of high performance coatings epoxies, and polyurethanes are widely used, however these coatings are two components system, having lot of limitations in their use. Moisture curable one component coating is a versatile product, having number of advantages, with superior performance than two component coatings. The concepts, chemistry have been discussed, with some exemples and feedback from international market, specifically from USA, where these products are in use by federal government departments, for number of applications, mainly to save labour, time and money, resulting in early completion of projects, without major shutdown. ThixotropieIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Corrosion inhibitors - Corrosion leads to very heavy losses, in any part of world. Conventionally number of coatings are manufactured and used to prevent, stop corrosion. These coatings include zinc silicates, high performance epoxy coatings, glass flake epoxies, polyurethanes, polyureas and coatings based on specific corrosion inhibitors. However, most innovative gelled calcium sulfonates have been rated best in the world. The serious problem have been experienced due to corrosion of metal, structures, bridges, pipelines by USA Govt last many years. To overcome problem of sanding, sand blasting, federal government have introduced Gelled Calcium sulfonates based coatings for prevention and recoating, without any special surface treatment. Today KIMES Technologies Int. USA have introduced this technology to India. Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=9053
