Corrosion inhibitors - Corrosion leads to very heavy losses, in any part of world. Conventionally number of coatings are manufactured and used to prevent, stop corrosion. These coatings include zinc silicates, high performance epoxy coatings, glass flake epoxies, polyurethanes, polyureas and coatings based on specific corrosion inhibitors. However, most innovative gelled calcium sulfonates have been rated best in the world. The serious problem have been experienced due to corrosion of metal, structures, bridges, pipelines by USA Govt last many years. To overcome problem of sanding, sand blasting, federal government have introduced Gelled Calcium sulfonates based coatings for prevention and recoating, without any special surface treatment. Today KIMES Technologies Int. USA have introduced this technology to India. |
