Transparence (optique)Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : An acrylic copolymer containing epoxy groups was synthesized by free radical polymerization of glycidyl methacrylate, methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate. Afterwards, polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride (PHMG) was chemically bonded with the resin through a reaction between the epoxy groups of the resin and the amino groups of PHMG to generate non-leaching and permanent antimicrobial acrylic coating. When the content of PHMG reaches 1.0 wt%, the inhibition factors against E. coli and S. aureus were respectively 99.992% and 99.994%, and the antimicrobial coating retains an excellent antimicrobial property even after being laundered with detergent solution. Moreover, the hydrophilicity of the antimicrobial coating was increased after the introduction of polar PHMG. The structure of starch/polyacrylate emulsion film was characterized by FT-IR, XPS and 1HNMR and the properties of leather coated with the emulsion were tested. The results showed that after corn starch was oxidized, the oxidized starch reacted with acrylate monomers, and the polyacrylate emulsion modified using oxidized starch was successfully prepared. Compared with a polyacrylate emulsion, the particle size distribution of modified composite emulsion is more concentrated. After finishing with polyacrylate emulsion containing oxidized starch, the leather was folded 20,000 times without developing cracks; In the wear resistance test, the gray scale of dry-wiped interlining cloth increased from 4.0 to 5.0, and the gray scale of wet-wiped interlining cloth increased from 3.5 to 4.5 ; The softness increased from 4.35 mm to the highest value at 5.23 mm; The tensile strength increased from 523N to 581N; The yellowing resistance is also obviously improved.

Transition vitreuseIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : A functional lignin-modified polyvinyl alcohol material was prepared by in-situ copolymerization and alcoholysis of vinyl acetate and functional lignin. We then investigated the molecular functional groups, mechanical properties, thermal properties and flame retardancy of the materials by using Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer, universal testing machine, differential scanning calorimeter, thermal gravimetric analyzer, scanning electron microscope, limiting oxygen indexer and horizontal vertical burning tester. The results show that with increase in functional lignin content, the limiting oxygen index, combustion grade and glass transition temperature of the functional lignin-modified polyvinyl alcohol film increased. Both tensile strength and elongation at break increased first and then decreased with increasing functional lignin content. When the functional lignin content was 15 %, these two indices reached their maximum values. As the functional lignin content increased, the melting temperature of the material gradually rose after a sudden drop. When the functional lignin content was 5 %, the melting temperature was the lowest. Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENT : Materials - experimental process - Test and characterization

Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : A matting waterborne polyurethane (MWPU) emulsion was prepared using polybutadiene diol (HTPB), polybutylene adipate diol (PBA) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) as the main raw materials, dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA) as a hydrophilic chain extender and ethylene diamine as a post chain extender, this was applied to the surface treatment of the leather. The surface microstructure of the MWPU film was studied by SEM. The results showed that when the content of HTPB increased, the particle size of MWPU emulsion increased, the stability decreased, the mechanical properties and surface roughness of MWPU film increased, the elongation at break, water absorption and light transmittance decreased. Combined with the matting effect, the gloss of the MWPU film was as low as 23GU, and the surface particles of the film were more obvious. The folding fastness was free from cracking, and the abrasion resistance could reach 154 circles [rubs], which meets the testing standard of leather.

Then, Michael addition reaction between malonate polyester and diphenylmethane bismaleimide (BDM), catalyzed by 1, 8-diazabicyclo [5.4.0] undec-7-ene (DBU)/benzoic acid salt, was carried out to prepare the films with different contents of curing agent. The thermal and mechanical properties of the films were characterized by dynamic thermomechanical analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and differential scanning calorimetry. We found that glass transition temperature (Tg) of the films increased with the increase in BDM amount. The Tg could reach up to 80°C, which indicated that the fabricated films show excellent thermal stability.
