Hafnium
SiliceLa silice est la forme naturelle du dioxyde de silicium (SiO2) qui entre dans la composition de nombreux minéraux.
La silice existe à l'état libre sous différentes formes cristallines ou amorphes et à l'état combiné dans les silicates, les groupes SiO2 étant alors liés à d'autres atomes (Al : Aluminium, Fe : Fer, Mg : Magnésium, Ca : Calcium, Na : Sodium, K : Potassium...).
Les silicates sont les constituants principaux du manteau et de l'écorce terrestre. La silice libre est également très abondante dans la nature, sous forme de quartz, de calcédoine et de terre de diatomée. LuminophoresIndex. décimale : 535.35 Luminescence Résumé : Les écrans de téléviseurs et d'ordinateurs représentent une fraction de volume importante des déchets électroniques recyclables. Cet article, qui fait suite au travail d'étudiants sur la récupération des luminophores présents dans ces écrans, illustre le principe d'obtention de luminophores. La synthèse proposée ici, qui consiste à doper un sulfure de zinc par des sels de cuivre ou de manganèse, est réalisée dans un four tubulaire à haute température, sous atmosphère contrôlée. Le produit obtenu, caractérisé par observation sous lampe UV et par spectrofluorimétrie, est comparé à un mélange de luminophores récupérés à partir d'écrans cathodiques ainsi qu'à un luminophore rouge industriel. Cette séance de travaux pratiques illustre le cours de chimie du solide et montre de manière visuelle et attrayante l'influence du dopaqe des semi-conducteurs. Thèses et écrits académiquesIndex. décimale : 668.9 Polymères Résumé : Les nanogels polyuréthanes sont synthétisés en solution dans des monomères pour trouver des critères gouvernants la nanogélification et la taille des particules. Leur synthèse s'effectue en trois étapes : la formation de prépolymères, leur solubilisation et la réticulation. Les deux premières sont bien connues dans la littérature. La troisième, exploratoire, a permis de synthétiser des nanogels fonctionnalisés ou non, de tailles très faibles, en solution concentrée et de comprendre l'influence de nombreux paramètres de synthèse sur la concentration critique de nanogelification C* et sur la taille des nanogels.
L'étude rhéologique des solutions de nanogels a permis de comprendre la macrogélification des systèmes et de définir un modèle pour prévoir C*. La polymérisation UV des monomères donnent des PMMA chargés de nanogels ayant des propriéts mécaniques intéressantes. Dans un revêtement PU, les nanogels améliorent l'évaporation du solvant en conservant les propriétés mécanique du film.Thèse : Thèse.
