Résumé : |
For those who have been in the coatings industry long enough, the rollercoaster ride of TiO2 price comes as no surprise. That said, the days of an even 10-year cycle in price have changed to shorter periods of high price (often painfully high) followed by longer periods of relatively low price (painful for the suppliers). Even when relatively "cheap", TiO2 continues to be one of the most expensive raw materials in a coating, so ensuring that the pigments is used correctly and efficiently remains a crucial business objective. |
