The elasticity of PTT/PET self-crimping filament yarns is currently evaluated through the elasticity of fabrics, which means a lot of work and expenditure. In order to develop a new method in industrial and commercial field, skeins made of different PTT/PET self-crimping filament yarns were heat treated and stretched in this study. Several methods were selected to calculate the elastic extension rate of skeins. Compared with the elasticity of single filament yarns and fabrics measured under mature process, a rapid elastic detection method was determined. |
