One of the most important recent challenges in the coatings industry is to provide greener, environmentally friendly, low VOC coatings while at the same time maintaining the self-life of products through the addition of biocides. This requires specialised biocide products which have been thoroughly researched and developed to reduce their environmental impact while retaining thei efficacy. Currently, many of the biocides used in the coatings industry are based on formaldehyde because of its excellent preservation properties. |
