Résumé : |
In worn clothes and in washed textiles, malodour can occur as a consequence of complex interactions between microorganisms and substances such as odourless compounds of sweat. A distinction should be made between the malodour on the textiles after washing and the malodour generated by microbial growth of remaining microorganisms during the drying process. The malodour-causing light volatile substances are, chemically speaking, fatty acids, nitrogen and sulphur compounds. |
