Résumé : |
Photopolymerised acrylic coatingshave found wide application in many industrial fields such as inks, coatings, adhesives, microelectronics. Due to their increasing success, a deeper knowledge of the structure-property relationships of these systems is required in order to make them suitable for the different applications. A complete review of the fundamental and industrial aspects of the UV-curing technology has been recently published. As far as the main properties are concerned, properties such as the glass transition temperature, the modules of elasticity, the tensile strengh, flexibility and impact resistance are of paramount importance. Due to the high surface/volume ration of the materials in the form of films, the surface properties, ie wettability, adhesion, friction and coating characteristics become crucial for the different applications surface properties to the films, several chemical and physical methods have been developed, among which chemical etching, corona and plasma treatment, thermal and flame treatment are widely employed. |
