Résumé : |
Infrared Spectroscopy as an analytical tool is well established in coating industry today. Considering the usefulness of this technique various applications have increased fewfolds as the IR technology became more and more sophisticated. The applications of this technique to the coating industry especially quality control, development, trouble shooting and characterisation are very wide. With the advancement in the technology especially with respect to high speed and low detection limits this technique can be coupled with other analytical instruments as a detector. The applications of such hyphenated techniques are briefly described. |
