Résumé : |
The number of effect pigments appearing, is on increase since various companies are developing innovative ways of generating eye-catching effects. Pearl luster pigments, as one of the category of special effect pigments have become a standard tool for stylists in paints, inks, plastics & cosmetics. A new class of treated aluminum pigments with a coloured appearance has opened the ways to new styling effects, especially when used with transparent pigments. Fine particle TiO2 has also found a place as effect pigments because of its ability to impart novel optical effect to metallic finish. This article is a compilation of some technologies that creates the modern dazzling effects pigments. |
