Systèmes de refroidissementIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : On sheet forming machines that can process materials up to a good 10 mm thickness, cooling of the moldings after forming plays a major role. A controlled, central cooling air supply allows significant improvements in the course of the process, productivity and product quality to be achieved. Transparence (optique)Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Sukano and Illig have a long-standing development partnership in the field of thermoforming. The latest development for recyclable and temperature-resistant PET applications for packaging is called CPET-light. Sukano has created a nucleating masterbatch that can be used to extrude a transparent film that is dimensionally stable up to 100 °C. At its in-house Technology Center, Illig tested the result for possible applications. Note de contenu : - Production of transparent cups for hot filling
- Determination of tool shrinkage after 24h of storage
- Temperature resistance in the oven test
- CPET-light cups as an efficient and recyclable alternative

Procédés de fabricationIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Preforming of the intermediate before final forming – this can be found neither during injection molding nor during blow molding. This process step is so important during thermoforming because the wall thickness distribution in the finished molding is more or less predetermined here.
