NickelLe nickel est un élément chimique, de symbole Ni et de numéro atomique 28.
Le nickel est un métal blanc argenté qui possède un éclat poli. Il fait partie du groupe du fer. C'est un métal ductile (malléable). On le trouve sous forme combinée au soufre dans la millérite, à l'arsenic dans la nickéline.
Grâce à sa résistance à l'oxydation et à la corrosion, il est utilisé dans les pièces de monnaie, pour le plaquage du fer, du cuivre, du laiton, dans certaines combinaisons chimiques et dans certains alliages. Il est ferromagnétique, et est fréquemment accompagné de cobalt. Il est particulièrement apprécié pour les alliages qu'il forme.

Taille des particulesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In the present study, we address the combined response of iron (Fe) and nickel (Ni) metal powders on the microwave absorption properties of nanographite (NG) particles in the 8–18 GHz frequency band. NG was synthesized from graphite via high-energy planetary ball mill (wet milling). Similarly, hybrid Fe-Ni-NG particles in two individual (25:25:50 and 37.5:37.5:25) ratios were synthesized and characterized for studying their structural and morphological properties. Further, the samples were dispersed in epoxy-based aero-grade paints to analyze their particle size and rheological properties. Thus, produced nanocomposite paints were coated on aluminum sheets for analyzing their functional properties including impedance measurement and microwaves absorbency measurements. The hybrid nanoparticle coatings exhibited a reflection loss of − 21 dB for 25:25:50 (Fe-Ni-NG) sample at 18 GHz and nearly − 18 dB for 37.5:37.5:25 (Fe-Ni-NG) sample for a wider frequency range from 14 to 18 GHz with a coating thickness of 1.8 mm. These advanced nanoparticles can be used for the development of flexible coatings in various defense applications including stealth aircrafts and low observable technologies in the future. This work has now been advanced in order to understand the mechanism surrounding sorption/desorption of moisture during cell conditioning, e.g., cell rotary conditioning (CRC). This paper will demonstrate how the use of DMTA could be used to monitor changes in leather stiffness. A gravimetric moisture analysis was performed on identical leather samples to gauge the progression of desorption. The change in storage modulus (E’) was coupled to the moisture content (leather moisture and atmospheric relative humidity) to obtain a better understanding of the physical properties (specifically stiffness) of leather during a drying process. The research presented illustrates how DMTA can indicate leather fiber response to changes in atmospheric humidity and facilitate real-time adaptation of drying conditions during leather dehydration. The use of a cell conditioning system allows a tanner to control the flexibility of the material through the tension applied and the drying conditions. DMTA shows that the favorable conditions inside a CRC unit result in detectable changes to the leather fiber, similar to findings by Abrahamson and Williams-Wynn. Using this technique a researcher can dry chromium-containing and chromium-free leathers in a manner that is highly customizable to produce desired physical properties. Difficulties experienced in chromium-free leathers can also be investigated in detail using this technique. Teinture -- Fibres textilesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of laser treatment at different resolutions (10, 20 and 30 dpi) and pixel times (80, 100 and 120 μs) on reactive dye uptake of cotton fabrics and the fastness values obtained. Yellowness index, Fourier Transform–infrared analysis, scanning electron microscopy analysis and bursting strength tests were applied to samples. The samples treated with laser were dyed in lighter shades than the untreated ones, with all three of the reactive dyes used in the experiments. In general, colour yield values decreased when the resolution and pixel time increased. However, no significant change was observed in washing, rubbing, light and perspiration fastness values. The possibilities of obtaining various patterns on cotton socks dyed with reactive dyes by laser treatment at different resolutions and pixel times were also investigated. According to the results, it was determined that if laser treatment was not applied to some parts of reactive dyed cotton socks, and 10 dpi 100 μs and 20 dpi 100 μs laser was applied to other parts of those socks, then it was possible to obtain patterns with different shades of the same colour on the socks. On the other hand, laser application after dyeing does not have a negative effect on fastness values. After determining the optimum conditions for the laser process, non-see-through tights were produced with cotton yarn on the front and polyester/elastane yarn on the back, and patterns were obtained by applying laser treatment before or after dyeing via sample scale industrial production. Tannage Résumé : In the leather industry, the wastes after the wet blue phase, which are created by the shaving process, are one of the substances that cause environmental pollution. Most of the time, these wastes are buried and may, under some circumstanses, cause serious environmental pollution problems. In this study, the chromium in wet blue shaved waste is to be minimized by using oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). Wet blue shaved wastes were mixed with 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% doses into the growth medium. After the oyster mushroom growth, the consumption of chromium from the growth media and uptaken by the mushrooms were investigated with Ege University Argefar Lab.'s House Method using a ICP-MS.
