Systèmes de refroidissementIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Plastic foams are important for resource conservation and material efficiency by reducing the part density. In order to produce a foam with a low density and a uniform bubble structure, the plastic melt, loaded with the blowing agent, must be cooled before entering the mold. Therefore, the IKT at the University of Stuttgart in Germany and Helix GmbH are developing a new, active cooling zone for foam extrusion in a joint research project. Note de contenu : - "Static-dynamic" cooling
- Modular screw design
- Reduction of the melt temperature

Note de contenu : - Une nouvelle technologie de filage

Index. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : The development of machines in the man-made fiber industry has elevated product quality and efficiency to a new level over the course of many years. With increasing environmental awareness in the 21st century, the focus on energy consumption and production costs has become the driving force behind new developments, with the sector's commercial environment in the process of changing once again. The textile value chain is part of a highly-competitive market with increasing expectation regarding sustainable manufacturing. Note de contenu : - Recycling solutions use waste

Température -- ContrôleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Mold temperature control has a significant influence on both productivity within the manufacturing process and the quality of the molded part. And yet this fact was overlooked for many years. Engel Austria’s new development four years ago triggered a change. Introducing a new enhancement at Fakuma 2014, the injection molding machine manufacturer will be taking the next step from process monitoring to process control. Température -- ContrôleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : "Variotherm temperature control is at the stage where conformal tempering was ten years ago, but is rapidly gaining in importance." That was one of the central statements in our "High-Performance Molds" special issue in November 2014. In order to check the validity of this thesis, we had a good look around at the recent Fakuma exhibition. The applications are clearly focused, and frequently come as process combinations. Note de contenu : - Lightweight visible parts with guaranteed surface quality
- High-gloss surfaces obtained dynamically and resource-conserving
- Process integration opens up new quality horizons
- Efficiency benefits in spite of high process temperatures
- Optical parts with flawless quality
- Special process for special integration of functions
