RentabilitéIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The Italian machine manufacturer Sacmi has developed a new solution for filling beverages into PET bottles. The core of the system is the so called CPB Link, the first dynamic cap and preform buffer that is capable of synchronizing processes upstream and downstream of the bottling line. The result is door-to-door converting and bottling, from pellet to secondary packaging. Note de contenu : - One buffer links all the processes
- Development of a fully integrated CCM-based platform
- One system module for four processes
- FIGURES : 1. The CPB buffer system i sonnected between the production units for bottle caps and PET preforms at one side and blow molding stations and filling lines at the other side - 2. Until now only used for the production of bottle closes, the CCM machine could machine could soon also be used for PET preformsEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ir0o3IvuUz-8CazOdG7NJVBjE0Q2ClBc/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=29019

Matériaux intelligentsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : This paper presents a function for coatings : the incorporation of data into wood products.
The traditional role of coatings is that of protecting and improving the aesthetic quality of wood. Sophisticated codes, containing products names, lot numbers or other information can now be included in coatings and used for quality-control or authentication purposes.
One of the most interesting consequences of this innovation is that coatings, or even coated products, can now be tagged for the entire lifetime of the product. This was considered to be of great interest by the companies involved in the project, especially in the event of claims resulting from in-use faults, certification and warranty procedures.
Coatings for the protection of wood for outdoor use are complex systems where different properties are balanced in order to confer adequate resistance against deterioration induced by a variety of weathering factors.
The coating users are increasingly sensitive to objective proof of the efficacy of coating products. The role of test reports according to EN 927 and certifications based on this European standard represent growing evidence of this concern.
While the various technical aspects are of great importance, warranties represent the main area of interest in marketing campaigns and in contracts between coating producers and users.
The most important aspect of a warranty is generally the number of year for which the coating producer assumes responsability for any defect causedby 'normal weathering' of the coated product.
In the event of a claim, the onus is on the producer to prove that the whole process has been carried out properly, but the crucial question is really whether it can be proved that all the products forming the coating system are those for which the warranty was granted.Note de contenu : - Recognition of applied coatings

Qualité -- ContrôleIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : A new LED light tunnel makes the final inspections of painted vehicle bodies much simpler and more efficient. Adjustable light units allow the light emitted to be adapted to the colour of the body. The results are a higher surface quality and lower maintenance, energy and reworking costs. Note de contenu : - Better reflected image
- Less reworking of pale-coloured paintwork
- Reduced maintenance and energy costs
- Fig. 1 : Comprehensive control options, which are coordinated with the employees' biorythms, allow more defects to be identified immediatly
- Fig. 2. The vertical arrangement of the lighting elements allows strips of light in up to three different colours to be produced. this creates phase transitions where the defects (marked here in th epicture) can be more easily identified
- Fig. 3. The clearer the reflected image, the easier it is to spot faults. The reflected image is harder to see on pale-coloured vehiclePermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=30307
