These compatibilizing agents are tackifying resins compatible with EVA polymer. If the compatible resin is used alone, the blend is transparent, but the application properties are lower without using a compatible resin like Norsolene.
In the formulation with a compatibilizing agent, the RX161 gives the cohesion, and the adhesion and the compatibilizing agent offer the transparency.

It is possible to improve the flow properties of a soft EVA (28% VA, 400 MI) to the extent that allows it to be shipped in bulk hopper cars without blocking, allowing easy unloading with conventional equipment. The analytical techniques described here can be used to measure the blocking and flow properties of a bulk polymer in order to predict how it will behave after bulk shipment.
The knowledge gained in this work has allowed AT Plastics to commercialize a modified EVA, suitable for bulk shipment in hopper cars.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/18ju_a5TMP-yFFsPaPgcACbNbKVlDF7Kk/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=20332
