Note de contenu : - I. CONSTITUTION ET CARACTERISTIQUES DES FIBRANNES. RECOMMANDATIONS GENERALES : Fibranne viscose - Fibranne acétate

A marked tendency was shown that the dyeability improved as the carbon number of alkyl substituents on the anthraquinone chromophore increased. By evaluating the build-up curves of the dyestuff, it was found that the carbon number of optimum alkyl chain length for 1,4-bis(alkylamino)anthraquinone was 8–12. From the relationship between the build-up curve and the colour fastness, it was concluded that the upper limit of dyeing depth for good colour fastness was 40 mmol/kg of fibre. Teinture -- Fibres textiles synthétiquesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : In this study, a hemicyanine dye, trans-4-(4-(diethylamino)styryl)-1-ethylpyridinium bromide (DYE-BD), was synthesised and simulated. The maximum absorption wavelength of DYE-BD was calculated with the same basis set by using the Gaussian 09 software based on different methods, while time-dependent density functional theory was applied to simulate the maximum emission wavelength of the designed dye. The changes in enthalpy and Gibbs free energy were simulated at the b3lyp/6-31G(d) level, and energy changes in the luminescence process were assessed using mathematical methods. Furthermore, DYE-BD was used to colour acrylic fabric following the typical dyeing procedure for cationic dyes. The photostability of the synthesised dye was analysed using quantum theory and mathematical methods. The synthesised dye, analysed using the Ecological Structure Activity Relationships class program, had no toxicity to aquatic life, while the acrylic fabrics dyed with DYE-BD met the fluorescent orange requirements for background and combined performance materials according to the EN ISO 20471:2013 standard. Fibre aramide
Phénoxyéthanol
Teinture -- Fibres textiles synthétiquesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : In this study, 2-phenoxyethanol was used as a carrier to realise the bright-colour dyeing of aramid fibre. Fourier transform infrared, X-ray diffraction, and thermal analyses were used to characterise the modification of 2-phenoxyethanol on the aramid fibre structure. The dyeing performance, including the K/S value and the dye uptake, was tested by varying the concentration of 2-phenoxyethanol and related experimental parameters. Structural analysis suggests strengthened H-bonds, lower crystallinity, and slightly lower thermal stability after 2-phenoxyethanol treatment, which can be explained by the swelling effect of 2-phenoxyethanol, enlarging the amorphous structure through the reassembly of hydroxyl bonding to the aramid fibre. The dyeing performance can be improved by increasing the dyeing time, the temperature, and the concentration of sodium nitrate under slightly acidic condition. Colour fastness tests showed that 2-phenoxyethanol treatment does not affect the rubbing fastness but lowers the wash fastness slightly. Dyeing of aramid is crucial under special environmental conditions in which the products must withstand a harsh environment while retaining a bright colour.
