Matières plastiques -- Appareils et matériel
SéchoirsIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In the past, many peripheral devices simply ran continuously – and were designed for maximum throughput. In today’s world, in which energy consumption is playing an increasingly important role, it is worth taking a closer look at material handling. When it makes sense to “switch off in between” depends heavily on the application. The material experts from Wittmann provide energy-saving tips for beside-the-press granulators and segmented wheel dryers. Note de contenu : - Timed shutdown function for scheduled downtime
- This is how beside-the-press granulators get smart: tips to save energy
- Energy saving when drying plastic resin
- Energy-saving segmented wheel dryers
- Practical test in a large central drying solution

Température -- ContrôleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Whether with halogen, xenon, matrix-LED, Pixel-Lite or laser technology – the ZKW Group, a member of the international LG Group, manufactures premium lighting systems for automotive customers. For smooth production at constant high quality, its injection molding production is designed to be appropriately robust. It also uses several hundred temperature-control units from HB-Therm. Note de contenu : - Quality requirements equal to those in Medtech
- Long-term collaboration
- Speed-controlled pump : maximu precision with deviation
- Significant power saving
- Spee-controlled only
- Fig. 1 : Up to ten Thermo-5 temperature-control units per machine are clearly and neatly arranged
- Fig. 2 : Close cooperation (from right) : Markus Benedikt, Process Engineering Injection Moulding at ZKW, Wilhelm Aschauer of Luger, the Austrian HB-Therm representative, as well as Marco Lammer, Area Sales Manager of HB-Therm
- Fig. 3 : In plain language : the screen of a Thermo-5 with Eco-pump shows both setpoint and return temperatures, the flow rate, as well as the current power saving and the total energy saved per unit. The display values were determined in Wieselburg during an experiment on series production of a bezel
- Fig. 4 : The example calculation shows : the allowance of a double temperature difference results in a flow reduction of 7.4 l/min to 3.6 l/min. This results in a weekly saving of 136 kWh, which at a price of 0.15 EUR per kWh means an electricity saving of 20 EUR per week – with only one unitEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iHcHtzHUq92gN8UuilLL_XdeTnrzUcOD/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=35494

Moules d'injection
Température -- ContrôleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In the last decade, injection molders have increasingly come to focus on mold temperature control. Temperature-control units with a speed-regulated pump form an ideal complement to closed-loop controlled water manifolds. Since they are integrated into the machine control system, synergies arise that allow easy determination of the flow rates that are actually required, automatic setting of the pump speed, and consequently a significant reduction in the energy consumption. Note de contenu : - What flow rates are necessary ?
- Energy saving of 20 percent
- Temperature control units and water manifolds in duet
- An overall view
- FIGURES : Simulated heat distribution in a mold with two cavities and three temperature control channels. The arrow directions indicate the flow direction of the heat-exchange medium ; the arrow lengths represent the flow rate - 2. With the automatic rotary speed control the total energy consumption of the injection molding system can be reduced by 20 % - 3. Required pump output for temperature control of two circuits with different pressure losses. For better comparison, the flow rates were chosen such that a maximum temperature difference of 3K is established - 4. To make the system, comprising temperature-control unit and manifold, clearer, a new user interface was developed. All the temperature-control components are grouped together on one page : the mold with its cooling circuits, which is shown symbolically is located in the center. - 5. The e-temp temperature control units from HB-therm are integrated into the CC300 control system of the engel injection molding machine via OPC UA. OPC UA is becoming increasingly more popular as the communication standard for the smart factory of the futureEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RxvgSCN-xp7_k2fvs0dWWKuNm4A_rdos/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27917
