Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : The interfacial properties of fiber/matrix in composite materials are crucial in determining their overall performance. In this study, carbon fibers (CF), glass fibers (GF), and flax fibers (FF) were used as reinforcements in composites, and low-pressure plasma and atmospheric plasma treatment were applied to the fibers to enhance interfacial adhesion. The surface-treated samples showed improved wettability, indicating the effectiveness of the plasma treatments. These plasma process conditions were then used as a foundation for the application of the BBM (bio-based bonding material), which further enhanced the interfacial properties of the fiber.
