Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The Calvasol method provides a flexible, economical, and efficient way to functionalize films with corresponding coatings. Compared to alternative methods, the applied layer thicknesses are in the range of 0.1 to 10 nm which reduces the consumption of chemicals and energy in processing. Note de contenu : - Avoiding high energy consumption for drying
- Treatment and coating in one process step
- Direct integration into the extrusion process
- Further development of functional chemistry
- FIGURES : 1. Schematic representation of the Calvasol method that combines the corona treatment and aerosol application. It is used for the permanent andi-adhesion, antifog or antistatic functionalization of films - 2. The aerosols are applied to the film from below. This has the benefit that the functional molecules can be anchored in a very thin and even layer - 3. The Calvasol system can be integrted directly into the lamination process with no negative influence on the lamination adhesive - 4. Measuring the contact angle of a film coated with and without Calvasol shows the influence of the Calvasol antifog function : The goal is to create a surface with maximum hydrophilic properties, indicated by a small contact angle in the measurement with water. The greater the contact angle (image on the right), the poorer the antifog effectEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/13hytvqc7_RbMNMMsWKL1MxA45wqXt11w/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28474

RhéologieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Various waste materials are produced in blow and flat sheet film manufacturing. This includes film residues, scrapped rolls, trimmings and purgings. Stamping grids and scrap parts are also generated in case of subsequent thermoform production. The zero scrap production concept of NGR is intended to return all waste material to the manufacturing process. Note de contenu : - Production concept for manufacturing PET deep drawing film

Revêtements protecteursIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Temporary functional coating based on a 1K waterborne polyurethane dispersion that provides temporary protection for high-end products against chemical and mechanical damage, dust, fingerprints or stains. Since it can be easily applied to a wide range of substrates, e.g. plastic, glass, metal or coated parts, it is ideally suited to various applications such as IT and consumer electronics, automotive, wood & furniture etc.
Demanded characteristics of this coating are good adhesion to the surface on the substrates when applying and when they are unnecessary, it's easy to peel off and not to leave any coatings on the surface.
The advantages of these peelable coatings are their high efficiency and eco-friendliness as waterborne 1K formulations, tough but elastic-, thermo-stability, spraying capability (for 3-D objects), and absence of any residues since no adhesive is required.
Experts at Bayer MaterialScience have developed dispersions and starting formulations for environmentally compatible coatings that provide this protective function. Once they have served their purpose, they can be peeled off easily with no residue left behind.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/11BiBgwUyP8BIqFyhyx0MZE8hZOISEnYE/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=21789

PolyéthylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : In the interest of sustainability, film extrusion plants have to process recycled materials and also produce recyclable products. Monomaterial products and a plant layout optimized for the products are the current trends. A multilayer structure as such does not pose a problem for recycling as long as all layers are made from the same class of plastic. Digitization continues to be an important driving force as digital tools contribute to solving the problems that need to be overcome. Note de contenu : - Topics that Gained Importance in Recent Years

Rouleaux de refroidissementIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Film deposit formation on the chill rollers is a serious problem in flat film extrusion. It can not only reduce film quality, but also make it necessary to stop production. So far, it is not known exactly which conditions favor the formation of deposits. This has now been analyzed in more detail at the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV) in Aachen, Germany. Note de contenu : - Record the formation of roller deposits
- Which parameters influence the formation of deposits ?
- Influence of melt and roller temperature
