NormalisationIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Hand held dry film thickness (DFT) gages are common inspection tools used by applicators and inspectors. With a little care and maintenance, mechanical and electronic instruments can be relied upon to give many years of accurate and dependable service.
Good operation begins with reading the manual. All instruments have subtle operational differences. Record the make, model, serial number and date of purchase inside the manual and highlight maintenance and calibration tips.Note de contenu : - Can I calibrate ?

The accuracy of an adjusted gage changes from +1% to +5% as calculated using a root sum of the squares formula - 5. For best results and longest life, the sliding probe should not be gripped high, but instead with your fingers low to the surfaceEn ligne : http://www.paintsquare.com/archive/?fuseaction=view&articleid=5874 Format de la ressource électronique : Web Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28415

Note de contenu : - Pourquoi des films mésoporeux ?

Signaux et signalisationIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Currently, there are no objective methods available for evaluating the appearance of coating systems. The American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) offers pictorial standards that are time-consuming and perhaps inaccurate. This paper examines the feasibility of image analysis in quantifying degradation of the visual appearance of current ASTM pictorial standards used in evaluating traffic paint degradation for abrasion and chipping resistance Note de contenu : - METHODS: Image capture - Image analysis methods: Mean and variance - Area fraction - Co-occurrence statistics - Surface area and normalized relief - Run length - Fractal dimension

Spectroscopie d'impédance électrochimiqueIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Water diffusion in a composite coating on 2024 Al alloy was experimentally studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The composite coating contained an inner silane film and an outer silicone-epoxy layer. The measured value of water diffusion coefficient of the composite coating by the EIS method was compared to the value predicted using a mathematical model. The results indicated the non-continuity of water concentration at the interface of silane film and silicone-epoxy layer. Considering water concentration jump on the silane film/silicone-epoxy boundary, the diffusion coefficient of the composite coating obtained by validation model was similar to that obtained from the experimental method. Tellurure de cadmiumIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Cd-enriched cadmium telluride (CdTe) polycrystalline films were grown on coming glass substrates by close spaced sublimation (CSS) technique. To our knowledge, Cd-enriched CdTe thin films by CSS have not been reported earlier. The structural investigations performed by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) showed that the deposited films exhibit a polycrystalline structure with 〈111〉 as preferred orientation. The structural, optical, and electrical properties of these films were analyzed as a function of the Cd concentration. For the films having an excess of Cd, the electrical resistivity dropped several orders of magnitude. The deposited films also showed that the value of resistivity decreased with increasing temperature manifesting the semiconducting behavior of the films. The results showed that using this deposition technique, n-type Cd-enriched CdTe polycrystalline film could be produced.
