VernisIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Surface technology - The design versatility of a polyurethane coating on part surfaces, including metallic effects and a fine grain with matt and glossy sections, is being illustrated with a steering wheel cover at the K trade fair. In contrast to injection molding with separate spray painting, this prototype is produced using an integrated process. Flooding the injection mold with the coating was simulated in advance. - FIGURES : 1. Simulation of mold filling with PU lacquer : By integrating barriers, the vent hole in the middle of the part is only filled with lacquer and sealed once all areas of the part surface have been flooded - 2. The gloss levels of the effect lacquer system range from high gloss to matt ; surfaces can be smooth, textured or feature a soft feel - 3. Such a fine grain is especially scratch resistant since the high gloss is recessed in the "valleys" and therefore protectedEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U-LZithTOBTI3xmmUjqzfRDaICF_1Agz/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=28058

VernisIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Water-based binders which make it possible to formulate low-solvent lacquers for wood are attracting more and more attention in the light of changing legislation, especially in Austria and Switzerland, and growing environmental awareness on the part of end users. Here, water-based acrylic dispersions are becoming increasingly important, being predestined for making low-solvent products. This article first compares the properties of conventional acrylic copolymer dispersions with those of dispersion blends and multi-stage polymers. Their minimum film forming temperature (MFT) and glass transition temperature (Tg) are investigated, as well as properties such as blocking resistance, pendulum hardness, elongation at break and mar resistance in waterborne clear lacquers. Also compared are the penetration resistance and depth of penetration of a dispersion and a conventional nitrocellulose lacquer, using the Fischerscope 100. - Tests carried out - Minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) and glass transition temperature (Tg) - Blockink resistance - Hardness - Elongation at break

VernisIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : All of the interior wood finishing products created are designed to enhance the natural beauty of your home and its furnishings. By following the easy-to-use techniques described in this article you can achieve professional quality results from your staining and finishing projects.
Interior stain magnifies the natural beauty of wood by adding warmth to otherwise ordinary surfaces, Interior stain enriches the grain old texture of wood while adding an attractive tint of color. Even inexpensive wood can be transformed enough to be paired with rare, exotic or expensive wood. You will want to use stain on bare wood or wood treated only with a sealer. Then, after staining, coat the surface with varnish to assure durabiIity and easy cleaning.
You can use stain on furniture, floors, paneling, woodwork, doors, cabinets and more, interior varnish creates a clear, long lasting film that protects your wood surfaces. You can choose from two basic types of varnish : alkyd or urethane. Both are available in gloss and satin finishes. Urethane offers the best durabiIity and chemical resistance, and is best for floors and other frequently used areas. Select alkyd, on the other hand, for surfaces that receive only moderate wear, such as furniture, cabinets and paneling.Note de contenu : - The beauty of interior wood stains
