Revêtements protecteursIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Epoxy binder systems are the technology of choice for high demanding applications, such as heavy-duty anti-corrosion paints or oil & gas pipe coatings, heavy duty flooring applications and many more. Such epoxy binder systems have a track history of many decades and have proven their ability to cope with the severest environments. However, performance requirements are continuously changing, as well as legislative requirements to protect the environment and workers' health. To help its customers cope with these changes OLIN has developed special solutions, resins and/or curing agents that will meet the most stringent legislative demands, as well as technical challenges. A brief overview will be given demonstrating the recent developments in wet anti-corrosion paints, floor or anti-corrosion waterborne coatings and low temperature curing or high-performance powder coatings. The resin formulation is made up of oligomers and monomers which contain polymerisable double bonds. Photoinitiators are therefore required to initiate the polymerisation.
The development of bisacylphosphine oxide ‘BAPO’ photoinitiators permits the through cure of high build pigmented powder coatings. α-hydroxy-ketone ‘AHK’ photoinitiators have a synergistic effect with the BAPO to deliver enhanced technical performance with minimal negative effect on shelf stability.
The focus of this paper is to show the curing possibilities with two different resin systems at various TiO2 loadings and thickness of smooth white finishes for medium density fiberboard.DOI : 10.1007/BF02699603 En ligne : https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/BF02699603.pdf Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5469
