PipelinesIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Many industrial pipelines are exposed to the elements and must face tough environmental conditions, including humidity, and temperature and climate variations―often including heavy frost in the winter and long hot spells in the summer. The electronic equipment used in conjunction with these pipelines must also face these same demanding environments.
Georg Fischer offers pipes and system solutions for the safe transport of liquids and gases, lightweight casting components in vehicles, and high-precision manufacturing. The company manufactures a product for its control systems range that has an extremely large display, the Signet 9900 transmitter. This unit is used to measure and monitor fluid and gas media through a single-channel interface for sensors like flow, pH/ORP, conductivity/resistance, pressure, temperature, filling level, and salinity. It can be integrated
into a control cabinet or installed in the
field for use in a variety of applications, including media filtration, wastewater treatment, and chemical production. Due to the transmitter’s dimensions of 99 x 99 mm, information can be read at up to four or five times the distance of conventional transmitters, reducing the risk of incorrect readings or misinterpretation of the displayed values.Note de contenu : - Display bonding improves readability

Résistance à l'abrasionIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : In the journal Progress in Organic Coatings, a new paper describe three versions of a fast, reliable laboratory method for simulating scratching processes on automobile clearcoats (the uppermost, or surface, layer of an exterior polymer composite coating). The tests are designed to give manufacturers a better understanding of the mechanisms behind those processes so that future coating materials can be made more scratch resistant and resilient.
Son objectif est de produire des biens et services tout en limitant fortement la consommation et le gaspillage des matières premières, et des sources d'énergies non renouvelables ;
MasticsIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : The European Commission is committed to transforming Europe’s economy into a more sustainable one and enhancing the circular economy. FEICA (The Association of the European Adhesive and Sealant Industry) supports the European Commission’s objective of “closing the loop” of product life cycles, bringing benefits for the environment, the economy and society.
FEICA’s sustainability vision states:
“The adhesive and sealant industry is committed to enabling a growing population to live a better life and to use the planet’s resources responsibly and efficiently.” We recognize that a viable and sustainable future will depend on a more efficient, including circular, use of resources. The adhesive and sealant industry is willing to contribute to solutions to meet this challenge. As such, we launched the Sustainable Development Agenda in 2016 to ensure our members understand and support the circular economy developments over the coming years.Note de contenu : - The circular economy
