Within the project "Bio-based adhesives with heat activation" funded by the BMEL, Federal ministry of Food and Agriculture / FNR, Agency for Renewable Resources, an ecological assessment of bio-based heat-activated adhesives for applications in the automotive, furniture and footwear industries, was carried out for the first time. Note de contenu : - Polyurethane dispersion adhesives with heat activation
- Trend towards bio-based alternatives
- Synthesis and characteristics of adhesive polymers
- Adhesives on the basis of bio-based polyurethane dispersions
- Environmental benefits of bio-based polyurethane dispersions
- FIGURES : 1. Building blocks of polyurethanne dispersions for production of adhesive formulations with thermal activation - 2. Crystallization behavior of semi-crystalline polyester polyols - 3. Thermal behavior of bio-based polyurethane dispersions and standard polyurethane disprsions (temperature increase of 2 kelvin/min) - 4. Surface tackiness of different bio-based polyurethand dispersions and two petrochemical polyurethane dispersions with different surface temperatures
- TABLES : Raw materials of bio-based polyurethane dispersions and their carobn footprint - 5. Carbon content distribution between biogenic and fossil sources - 6. Portfolio matrix for the content of biogenic carbon and reduction of carbon footprint - Contribution analysis of the carobn footprint for bio-based and standard polyurethane dispersionsPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=29662

Reactive PUR hot melt adhesives can now be processed on standard machines as well. A patented manufacturing process - to produce these adhesives in granulate form - makes it possible. Note de contenu : - Edgebanding methods
- Adhesive as a functional layer
- Increasing demands in quality
- PUR hot melt adhesives for everyone
- Low-monomer, respectively monomer-reduced systems
- Renewable raw materials are in trendEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E7RC_ICnqUDLfYlf5_QG20Bm-H7jVE47/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=24826
