Textile-plastic composite - Implants - The small intestine is an important digestive organ in the body. People who suffer from short bowel syndrome have to depend on an artificial diet. Existing therapies have held out little prospect of success so far. A partially resorbable polymer composite textile, made by compression molding, offers a new approach. |
