3-D MID - offer an enormous optimization potential for the manufacturing processes and overall system. For an optimum MID design, the challenge lies in taking the application specific requirements into account and simultaneously integrating the advantages of MID technology. Various innovative series applications in different product fields highlight the advances achieved in structuring, metallizing, structural design, and connection techniques, particularly with plastics. This article describes the potentials and challenges of the MID technology. |
