Property improvement - Finishing - Plastic machine elements often fail due to wear or exceeding of the loading limits. In cooperation with the Institute of Polymer Technology at the University of Erlangen, Germany, it was possible to demonstrate that treating engineering plastics with high-energy radiation optimizes their tribological properties. |
