Robots industrielsIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : Continual efforts to improve production speed, reduce downtime and drive profitability in the fiber processing industry are fuelling increased take-up of mobile modular creels which allow offline loading and unloading of large fiber packages. And now robotic handling technologies are helping fiber manufacturers increase the efficiency and accuracy of their processes yet further, by removing the need for manual handling and its associated weaknesses. Remote loading and unloading modular mobile creels enable fiber manufacturers to load packages of fiber away from the main creel, whithout interrupting production. Once loaded, the mobile module can be plugged into the production cycle with minimal downtime, set-up or format changes. By automating the loading and unloading of the mobile creel, manufacturers can optimize the process even further, and in doing so increase the rate at which they feed fibers into downstream processes; therefore driving productivity and profitability. The operational benefits of loading and unloading the creel offline using robotic technology are clear and considerable. Note de contenu : - INCREASED CAPACITY

Robots industrielsIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Due to increasingly strict quality standards in all industrial sectors for both production and maintenance, non-destructive testing must be used along with C-scan mapping. The flaws detected can then be monitored throughout the service life of the device or component. Automated testing is more efficient and reliable, and it considerably boosts productivity, thus keeping our industries competitive. Automated gantry systems can fulfil the automation requirements in a number of applications. Six-axis industrial robots can be used for automated inspection of complex-shaped parts, as long as you take the constraints that are specific to non-destructive testing (NDT) into account, e.g. C-scan mapping accuracy or inspection programming.
