Tension superficielleIndex. décimale : 671.7 Finissage et traitement des surfaces Résumé : Waterbased cleaning agents have optimal effects when their components are regularly monitored, carefully dosed and their concentrations are kept stable. This assures not only stable parts cleanliness but also increases the economic efficiency of cleaning processes. Note de contenu : - Change in concentration
- Insufficient parts cleanliness caused by surfactant depletion

Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Steel structures must be carefuly cleaned to maximise the durability of maintenance painting. Ultralight pressure water jetting (UHP) produces much lower volumes of waste than abrasive blasting and has safety advantages. However, coatings must be selected to perform effectively on surfaces cleaned in this way. A major project in which UHP was used successfully is described. Note de contenu : - The demanding nature of offshore coatings application
- Long-term protection needs careful surface preparation
- Performance and environmental advantages of UHP
- Water Management and quality issues
- Pre-qualification of UHP surfaces for coatings
- UHP treated surfaces can meet IMO standards
- A practical case study in Portugal
- Waste water re-use minimises disposal costs

Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Shot blasting - Complex workpiece geometries and high production volumes require individually tailored shot blasting machines. In order to significantly reduce procurement costs and improve long-term cost-effectiveness, a compact overhead monorail shot blasting machine produced in a small series has been developed. Traîtements de surfaceIndex. décimale : 671.7 Finissage et traitement des surfaces Résumé : As a result of the introduction of stricter environmental regulations, there is a need for more environmentally friendl cleaning products. Several different eco-friendly cleaners are already available that have very low levels of greenhouse gas emissions and do not damage the ozone layer. When used in vapour degreasing machines, these new metal cleaners also meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Note de contenu : - Change of direction for cleaning
- Global warming potential under consideration
- High standards of cleanliness and good material compatibility
- Environmentally advanced solutions
