Natural fibre - The main argument against the industrial use of natural fibre-reinforced plastics (NFP) is that the quality of the fibres is dependent on the year they were grown. Through a quality management system that begins at the cultivation stage and is based on reproducible proof of origin and harvesting parameters, it is nevertheless possible to obtain fibres of consistent quality and reliable data, enhancing the predictability of natural fibre-reinforced plastics. |
