Résumé : |
Risk assessment - Nickel and chromium rutile yellow pigments contain heavy metals but show virtually inert behaviour, since the metals are not bioavailable. Studies undertaken as part of the OECD High Production Volume Programme confirm that these yellow pigments have only low hazard potential. Coloration of plastics with this pigment class may therefore be regarded as being largely harmless from a toxicological and ecological perspective. |
