Résumé : |
Efficiency comparison - Expandable microspheres are microscopically small spheres with a thermoplastic outer skin and a filling of condensed gas. They expand on heating. Used as a blowing agent in thermoplastics, they can reduce the initial density of the plastic by up to 40 percent. Comparative measurements show how material and process parameters influence the efficiency of the microspheres. |
