Mass production of micro parts - To manufacture over 100 million micro parts per year, companies have two choices; invest in many small injection molding machines or run a high-cavity mold in a conventional press. Three applications were chosen to illustrate the advantages of valve gate hot-runner technology, how it handles melt residence time and the inherent challenges of viscoelastic polymers. |
