Thermoplastic foam injection molding - By systematically implementing lightweight designs in the automobile industry, it has been possible to reduce vehicle weight and fuel consumption as well. Injection molding thermoplastic foam parts represents one approach. The AquaCell process, which uses water as an inexpensive yet effective blowing agent, is a new technique for producing foam parts. |
