Resorbable implants - In recent decades, much has been achieved through catheter-based cardiac treatment in pediatric interventional cardiology. As a result of this treatment, children with heart defects are often saved complex operations, scars and prolonged stays in hospital. The development of a resorbable implant should help minimise the long-term complications of interventional cardiology. |
