Résumé : |
Engine components - Technical and high-temperature thermo plastics such as glass fibre reinforced polyamide 66, polyphenylene sulphide or polyphthalamide are finding increasing use for numerous engine components in modern automobiles. As opposed to light aluminium, they offer an even greater potential for lightweight construction. It is the design freedom of plastics that has enabled the manufacture of complex modules – with a positive effect on costs. |
