Styrene polymers - The thermo-mechanical properties of high-temperature polymers can also be achieved with inexpensive thermoplastics if these are selectively modified. Using a fibre reinforced styrene copolymer functionalised with maleic acid anhydride, it is possible to extend the application potential of this particularly inexpensive polymer group to cover highly stressed parts. |
