Laser welding - A bio-sensor’s top is bonded to the box by means of laser transmission welding. Cycle times are short here and possibilities for on-line supervision good. Moreover, the weld seam can be designed as highly resistant and no additional material is needed. All of these features are favorable aspects, making the technique an attractive option for the application considered. |
