Vast substitution potential - Automotive glazing has been a topic of conversation in the plastics industry for a long time. In the interim some vehicles have been equipped with panes or transparent elements made from plastic, but these are still only niche applications. However, in the last ten years machinery and tooling technology has reached a stage where the ability to go into mass production is regarded as proven. |
