Its advantages are primarily the high material, energy and workspace preservation process as well as the complete elimination of solvents.
In the past, the range of UV curable HMPSA products was rather limited, but a significantly broad selection of adhesives with new applications is available due to new raw materials.
These new UV curable HMPSAs tailored by the formulator have well defined characteristics. New products with designed-in properties are available which were unthinkable in the past, such as offering a combination of excellent peel values and high cohesion properties; outstanding resistance to high humidity and temperatures; and improved resistance against plasticizers.
Apart from the presentation of novel products, practical and illustrative examples for the self adhesive rape sector will be discussed.Note de contenu : - Crosslinking with UV light

Tackifiant (adhésifs)Index. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : The use of Pemulen resins to prepare solvent-and oil-free emulsions of high melting tackifier resins supports industry trends toward conversion to stricly water-based adhesives. A room temperature ball milling technique is utilized to prepare stable emulsions, but other conventional procedures may be used with many resins. Due to the low levels of surfactants and Pemulen resin required, these emulsions offer savings when compared to conventional tackifier resin emulsification systems. They are fluid and stable, for easy handling and storage; they also offer potential advantages in the areas of moisture resistance and freeze-thaw stability.

A critical factor is the degree of dependence of the electrical resistance to temperature change. CNT-dispersant coating and CNT-silicone compound are compared as possible solutions.
