High-temperature plastics - Because of the associated weight savings and cost benefits, plastics are being used increasingly in under-the-hood applications. Trials involving housings for an electromagnetic valve train (EMVT) are intended to show that, in spite of some disadvantages, high-temperature plastics represent the material of choice for these applications. |
