Automation in the cleanroom - The production of disposable latex nipples for clinic use is a complex process involving several stages. Mapa, a manufacturer of baby products, has opted for TPE as raw material and – thanks to process integration - is now able to produce the nipples in a fully automatic single-step process in a Class 100 cleanroom. One reason for this success is a six-axis robot that has been specially adapted for such applications. |
