ThermogravimétrieIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : A waterborne cationic fluorinated polyurethane (WCFPU) was prepared by the reaction of isophorone isocyanate (IPDI), polyether polyol (PTMG1000), N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), trimethylol propane (TMP) and 2-(perfluorooctyl) ethyl alcohol (FEOH), and then was used in leather finishing. Their structure, morphology, surface property, thermal performance and chemical resistance were characterized by Fourier trnasform infrared spectromoter (FT-IR), light scattering (LS), transmission electron microscope (TEM), interfacial tension instrument (IT), contact angle (CA), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), thermogravimetry (TG) and spot test. The results reveal that WCFPU was endowed with low surface tension of its micro-emulsion and low surface energy of its film which was beneficial to the properties of coating. DSC and TG diagrams also revealed that the application range of product was enlarged. It was also found that the fluorinated polyurethane had outstanding chemical resistance. Furthermore, it was found that the WCFPU micro-emulsion was a good finishing agent, endowing leather with water and oil resistance, natural brightness, softness, embonpoint and moist surface, and thus evidently improved the quality of leather.
