Substitution - Instead of the usual pure aluminum, the frame of a combined photovoltaic and solar heating panel consists of a steel frame coated in foamed polyurethane. Thanks to a new manufacturing technique, all mounting fixtures, fluid connections, and wiring for the diodes are integrated in the foamed frame. Moreover, the smooth edges prevent a reduction of effective surface due to dirt accumulations, thus increasing the panel's output |
