This paper provides a general description of a new continuous biodesel production process, where the transesterification reaction is promoted by two catalysts. The process has been applied on a laboratory scale. The acid value of waste pig oil was greater than 100mgKOH/g oil, but the acid value of biodesel was less than 0.80mgKOH/g oil, and the ester conversion rate was more than 80 percent. The density, residual carbon contents, and acid value of biodesel were met the performance standards of 0# diesel - standard road vehicle oil. |
